  I have a whole Skeleton and Organs in LOW Level of Detail.
The Skull is Articulated.

Now the cool part is that I am setting this all up into a LO POLYGON
Animation system that is based on real anatomy.

So while i am modeling it is setting up an animatable rig.

The main skeleton will be simple
but will have a sub skeleton that is controlled by the main skeleton

So its like having a level of detail for a Bone System

The Main will capture the MO CAP Data
And the Secondary Sub Skeleton will correct for proper Anatomy while animating

Here is a Preview of a FOOT and a FEW Deep Leg Muscles being setup with
Lo Polygon - LIGAMENTS, TENDONS and MUSCLES
That will deform in real time and will react realistically because all based on Real Anatomy.

And this will give a good preview of how the SKIN mesh will fit over a LO POLYGON Anatomical RIG

FOR ILLUSTRATION purposes - I am rendering a high polygon skeleton because i wanted all the attachment ORIGINS and INSERTIONS to be accurate. I have a LO POLYGON skeleton ready to Replace the Hi Polygon with.

  The Tendons and Muscles are very lo polygon but are accurately placed and can be easily adjusted for any type of anatomy and the render out nicely with a MESH SMOOTH Modifier.

Now the BEST PART is that this TENDON and MUSCLE System will behave very realistically
and be VERY LOW POLYGON

and this RIG will help to make the ANIMATIONS more REALISTIC

Like this is cool example - because it shows that when you pull apart the BONE Hierarchy all the NATURAL PARTS are properly attached in a system that animates accurately in REAL TIME

Here are some Samples of Natural Foot Movements that deform correctly with the muscles in real time.

When the FOOT Bends at ANKLE the Achilles Heel BONE Ligament moves to its proper Place and looks correct.

  Now when the front part of the foot is bent the Muscle under the Foot Bends Properly creating a natural look to the foot just based on a few muscles properly placed in a hierarchy.

And this Basic CONCEPT of CONNECTION will be applied through the entire Skeletal System

Creating a highly realistic animatable character that can all be deformed to make any type of human body needed. And the modified character will have its IK setup so there will be no need to RIG separate characters.
